Established in 2015, the Coalition for Ticket Fairness operates as a national ticketing industry reform coalition made up of small and medium-sized businesses in the sports, live music, and events sectors. Based in New York City, the Coalition for Ticket Fairness (CTF) also consists of ticket sales experts, public advocates, and policymakers, all of whom collaborate on a future that benefits both fans and sellers. When CTF members are not advocating for the removal of hidden sales fees and artificial barriers to purchases, they spend time empowering sports and music enthusiasts with educational services and advocacy support.
CTF members and supporters have described the nation’s ticketing sales industry as “broken.” While these representatives advocate for consumer rights, they also believe that a fair and open market also benefits event organizers. Recent legislative action includes support for bills that crack down on sales bots and ticket holdbacks. CTF welcomes all ticketing industry agents to follow and support their policy activities and advocacy efforts by visiting ctfusa.org.
